Brand: Dellato Home
Date of Approval: 6 June 2025
Financial Year End: October 2024
- Introduction
- Although Bizmart Shop Ltd. does not meet the turnover threshold of £36 million established by Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily publish this Modern Slavery Statement to express our strong commitment to ethical practices, transparency and social responsibility throughout our operations and supply chain.
- Our Organisation and Supply Chain
- Bizmart Shop Ltd., operating under the brand Dellato Home, is a UK-based company engaged in the sale of premium home decor and tableware. Our products are designed and sourced with a focus on artisanal quality and sustainability. The majority of our suppliers are small-scale, ethical manufacturers located in Brazil.
- Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery
- We operate under a zero-tolerance policy towards slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to promoting human rights and ensuring that such practices have no place in our business or supply chain. Our ethical sourcing policy outlines expectations for all our partners.
- Due Diligence
- We conduct basic due diligence on our suppliers by assessing their employment practices, ethical certifications where available, and sourcing transparency. We prioritise working with long-term partners who demonstrate ethical conduct and fair working conditions.
- Risk Assessment and Management
- Given the nature and scale of our business, the risk of modern slavery is currently assessed as low. However, we remain alert to evolving risks and continue to monitor and improve our awareness and oversight practices, especially when expanding into new markets or working with new suppliers.
- Effectiveness and KPIs
- We are in the early stages of formalising performance indicators. At this stage, we measure effectiveness by the stability of our supplier relationships and the absence of any labour-related violations or reports.
- Training
- Due to our small team size, training is conducted informally. All team members are made aware of the company’s values and expectations in regard to ethical sourcing and human rights.
